A strong team is not simply three high-tier heroes. The heroes should support the same troop type and cover damage, support and durability roles. Last checked: 18 August 2026; balance changes and new heroes can alter the meta.

How to read the tier list

S-tier heroes offer high impact and long-term value in the right lineup. A-tier heroes are strong but may need a particular troop type or partner. B-tier heroes can work in early and mid game and may later be replaced. Stars, skills, equipment and troop level can matter more than a letter.

Heroes currently highlighted

Current 2026 references frequently place Qin Shi Huang, Zhuge Liang, Vlad III, Miyamoto Musashi, Lu Bu, Hua Mulan, King Arthur, Attila the Hun and Louis IX among notable high-tier options. Treat this as a roster to investigate, not a promise that every hero fits every account. Louis IX, Justinian, Suleiman and Sun Tzu may also contribute support or team balance.

Build by troop type

For swordsmen, consider compatible cores around Miyamoto Musashi, King Arthur or Qin Shi Huang. Cavalry players can assess Lu Bu and Attila with cavalry support. Archer teams may use Hua Mulan, Zhuge Liang or Suleiman; spear teams can examine Leonidas and Richard. Always confirm each skill’s troop tag in game.

F2P investment and mistakes

Choose one main troop type, build one core trio and avoid spending universal materials on every legendary hero. An easily upgraded hero can outperform an underdeveloped meta pick.
