A BIGO ID is account information used to identify and find the correct Bigo Live profile. Do not assume it is the same as a display name, phone number or room information. If a transaction asks for your ID, check the field labeled that way in your profile.
When do you need an ID?
Providing the correct account information matters when searching for a user, reporting an account problem to support or using an ID-based top-up. Similar-looking profile names may belong to different people. Do not identify a gift or top-up recipient solely by their display name.
Information not to confuse
- Display name: the name or nickname used on a profile.
- BIGO ID: the field shown to find and identify the account.
