To permanently delete your Bigo Live account, use Settings > Account Management > Delete Account in the app. Uninstalling the app from your phone does not close the account. Check your balance and linked accounts before confirming deletion.
Before deleting your account
Check your ID to confirm you are in the correct BIGO account. If you have Diamonds or Beans, pending payments or a host contract, read the deletion screen to understand how they will be affected. Save copies of your own photos and videos that you want to keep. If your account has been compromised, resolve the access problem first; deletion is not always the first solution.
Account closure steps
- Sign in to Bigo Live with your own account and open settings.
- Go to Account Management and select Delete Account.
- Complete account verification only inside the official app.
- Read the deletion agreement and balance and data-loss warnings before deciding.
Cancellation and recovery
Do not assume a fixed 20-day recovery period applies to everyone. Follow the current conditions shown on the action screen. Do not proceed on the assumption that your profile and content can be restored after permanent deletion. If you only want a break, logging out or turning off notifications are different options.
