LoL Patch 26.17 reduces the top-lane power of Nasus and Vayne while helping melee carries such as Irelia, Qiyana, Yasuo and Yone scale more reliably. It also updates Stormrazor and Sundered Sky, expands League Classic and releases three new skins on 26 August 2026.

When did LoL 26.17 launch?

Riot Games published the notes on 25 August 2026. The new Seraphine skin from the Heart Song line and Ocean Song skins for Soraka and Jinx arrive on 26 August. Riot did not list their RP prices in the patch notes, so check the live client before buying.

Champion buffs

  • Aurelion Sol: lower Q mana drain and shorter W cooldown at later ranks.
  • Cho'Gath: higher E base damage for stronger early trades.
  • Irelia: stronger AD scaling on Q plus AP ratio increases on W and R.
  • LeBlanc: normalised attack-speed ratio and higher AP scaling on W and its mimic.
  • Qiyana: improved bonus-AD scaling and W bonus magic damage.
  • Trundle: more attack speed from W at later ranks.
  • Yasuo and Yone: critical-strike damage penalty reduced from 10% to 5%.

Champion nerfs

  • Graves: lower bonus-AD ratios on both parts of Q.
  • Nasus: less passive lifesteal and lower active E damage.
  • Nocturne: damage reduced to curb jungle performance.
  • Vayne: weaker health and attack-speed growth, higher early Q mana cost and lower early W true damage, mainly targeting top lane.
  • Xerath: lower base health and Q base damage.

Item changes

Stormrazor attack speed rises from 20% to 25%, improving its place in critical-strike builds. Sundered Sky falls from 450 to 400 health and from 45 to 40 attack damage, reducing both durability and damage.

League Classic updates

Players receive two extra rune pages, increased honour and Classic XP gains, and lower prices for roughly one-third of runes. The classic Summoner's Rift presentation is refreshed, the first council vote opens, champion and role swapping reaches champion select, and around 20 balance changes plus many bug fixes are included.

New skins and RP

What does the patch mean?

Top lane should offer more counterplay against Nasus and Vayne, while Yasuo, Yone and Irelia gain late-game reliability. Stormrazor supports crit builds and the Sundered Sky nerf trims fighter efficiency. Results may change with matchups and hotfixes.
