FF comes from “forfeit” and means surrender. Players may type “ff” to propose giving up; when eligible, /ff or the interface opens a team vote.
How does the vote work?
Typing FF does not instantly end the match. The vote can open when the current mode and rules allow it, and the game ends only if the required approval condition is met. Timing and vote thresholds can change, so the live client is the reference.
Should every losing game be FF?
No. Scaling comps, objective bounties and enemy mistakes can create a comeback. Judge the map, win condition and team decision—not only the kill score. If the vote fails, avoid FF spam and keep playing.
