How to Play Nasus: Stacks, Lane and Split Push

Nasus should not risk the lane for every Q stack. Sustainable stacking means protecting health and wave position; giving up a few stacks is better than losing a large wave or dying.

Laning

Hold the wave near your tower and avoid unnecessary poke range. When the opponent roams, ping early and collect safe stacks or plates. Use the durability from the ultimate at the beginning of a committed fight, not after health is already gone.

Split push and teamfights

Track enemies and the next objective before pressuring a side lane. Do not stay away only for stacks when your team must contest. In fights, Wither the enemy carry or the key champion protecting them, then maintain a steady Q rhythm on reachable targets. See our LoL guides.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should Nasus risk every Q stack?
No. Giving up a few stacks protects health, wave state and more valuable future farm.
When should Nasus split push?
When enemies are tracked, the objective timing allows it and his team can safely avoid a fight.
