Ping is the round-trip delay between your PC and the game server. High ping is not always a performance problem; Wi-Fi interference, home traffic, ISP routing or a regional server incident can cause it.
Measure first
Record whether the issue is constant, time-specific or includes packet loss. Check downloads, streaming and cloud backup on every device. Do not confuse FPS drops with network latency.

- Use Ethernet when possible.
