Riven is not only about pressing buttons fast. Her damage comes from weaving passive-empowered autos between abilities while keeping one movement tool available to exit. Start animation-cancel practice slowly: build a clean ability-auto rhythm before chasing speed.
Laning
Use the shield to close distance, take a short trade and keep the last Q cast for control or disengage. Extend only after the opponent wastes a key cooldown. Avoid pushing when every dash is down and river vision is missing.
Teamfights
