When Riot applies a penalty to your League of Legends account, the client normally shows a notice at login or when you try to use the restricted feature. It may identify a chat restriction, queue delay, ranked restriction, temporary suspension or permanent closure and, where applicable, its duration.
How to check
- Sign in to the Riot Client and read every startup notice and reform card.
- Check the account email for Riot messages and verify the sender domain before opening links.
- If login fails, try account recovery first; a password problem is not proof of a suspension.
- If the decision appears wrong, send one clear ticket to Riot Support.
Do not trust anyone selling an “unban service”, share your account, evade a penalty with another account, or spam Support. Review the cited behaviour and use only the official appeal route.
