If teammates cannot hear you, the usual causes are the wrong input device, blocked microphone permission, a low input level or a client connection issue. First confirm the mic works in another recording app.
Mic and permissions
- Select the correct microphone in Windows and test the input meter.
- Allow desktop apps to access the microphone in privacy settings.
- Select the same device in Riot/LoL, then check push-to-talk and input level.
- For Bluetooth headsets, reselect matching input and output profiles if hands-free mode conflicts with stereo.
Client and network
Leave and rejoin the voice channel, restart Riot Client and test without VPN or proxy. Do not permanently disable the firewall; review blocks and allow Riot through proper rules. Check party and channel settings if the issue affects only one group. See our LoL guides.
