Metin2 Okey Event September 2026: Dates and EP Prices

The Metin2 Okey event began on 8 September 2026 at 01:00 Turkey time. The Item Shop announcement lists Gold Okey Boxes at 89 EP, Silver at 19 EP and Bronze at 9 EP. You do not have to buy EP to participate by collecting cards; buying shop boxes is a separate choice.

EP means Ejder Parası, the Turkish name for Dragon Coins used in the Item Shop. This guide follows official Gameforge Metin2 announcements, not private-server rules or other countries' shop prices. Last checked: 8 September 2026.

When does the Okey event start and end?

Start: 8 September 2026, 00:00 CEST (UTC+2) / 01:00 Turkey (UTC+3).
Card drops end: 30 September 2026, 23:59 CEST / 1 October 2026, 00:59 Turkey.
Event ends: 1 October 2026, 23:59 CEST / 2 October 2026, 00:59 Turkey.

Adding one hour for Turkey moves both end dates into the following day. Card drops ending and the event closing are not simultaneous: track them separately. The Gameforge Turkey announcement gives the schedule, confirmed by the German announcement.

How to play Metin2 Okey

Stack 24 cards collected from monsters to create a card set. You also need 30,000 Yang to enter. Then make groups and runs from your cards.

Group: three cards of the same number, such as 7, 7, 7.
Run: at least three consecutive cards, such as 6, 7, 8.
Colour and value: same-colour runs score more than mixed-colour runs. Combinations of lower-value cards score less.

Look at colours and numbers, not just whether three cards combine. These examples explain combinations; they do not guarantee the same cards each hand or any score. Check current reward-box score thresholds in-game.

Okey box prices in September 2026

Gold Okey Box: 89 EP.
Silver Okey Box: 19 EP.
Bronze Okey Box: 9 EP.

These prices come from the official Okey sales announcement, rechecked on 8 September. They are Gameforge Item Shop prices, not DostGame EP pack prices in Turkish lira. They also do not announce an increase or discount on EP packs.

Does the shop sale end with the event?

No: the notices give different windows. The shop text says 8 September 01:00–30 September 00:59 without an explicit time zone, so those times are quoted unchanged. Do not equate sale expiry with card-drop or event expiry. Check the offer in your account's Item Shop before buying.

How to calculate an EP budget

Find the total EP cost, then subtract your balance. One Gold, one Silver and one Bronze box total 89 + 19 + 9 = 117 EP. With 80 EP already on the account, the difference is 37 EP. This is an arithmetic example, not a bundle, discount or purchase recommendation.

The shortfall may not match an available pack size. Calculate the balance left after buying the pack as well. Check current Metin2 EP packs rather than applying an old blog's fixed “1 EP equals this many TL” rate.

Do you need to buy EP to play Okey?

No. The official route is a set made from 24 monster-dropped cards plus 30,000 Yang. Buying a box with EP is separate.
