The main alternatives are Death's Dance, Infinity Edge, Guardian Angel, Immortal Shieldbow, Mortal Reminder. Against physical damage, prioritize armor and staying power; against magic damage or heavy crowd control, consider magic resistance, a defensive active or safer boots.

Early, mid and late game
