Xbox’s 25th Anniversary celebrations are underway. Microsoft has announced a free profile badge and community designs, curated Game Pass collections, a global FanFest tour, the new Xbox Gear store and limited X25 accessories. The programme leads up to the anniversary on 15 November 2026.
What is included in Xbox 25?
- A free profile badge available through the end of 2026
- Community-made gamerpics, backgrounds and a dynamic theme
- Game Pass collections spanning the original Xbox to Series X|S

- Xbox Gear and Designed for Xbox X25 accessories

How do you get the free anniversary badge?
Sign in to your Xbox account on console, PC or the Xbox mobile app. The badge can be displayed on your profile and remains available until the end of 2026. No fee, product code or Game Pass subscription was listed as a requirement.
Community artists Klobrille and Ben Kenobi also created free gamerpics, backgrounds and a dynamic theme. On console, use profile customisation for the gamerpic and theme, and Settings > General > Personalisation > My background for the dynamic background. On the PC app, edit your profile or open Customise profile.
What is in the anniversary Game Pass collection?

Xbox FanFest 2026 dates
Announced stops are Cologne on 26 August, Tokyo on 17 September, London on 26 September, Mexico City and Sydney on 17 October, and Toronto on 6 November. Seattle details are still pending. Tickets are allocated through city-specific sweepstakes.
Xbox Gear and X25 accessories
The Xbox Gear store launched with Gloss, Est.01 and Blood Gulch collections. The Designed for Xbox 25th Anniversary range brings the original console’s translucent green look to modern hardware. It includes Razer’s Basilisk V3 Pro 35K mouse, BlackWidow V4 75% keyboard and Hammerhead V3 X HyperSpeed earbuds, plus products from 8BitDo, Backbone, PowerA and GameSir. Pre-orders are open, but Turkish pricing and official availability were not confirmed.
