When you see a 'shield' in Bigo Live, do not confuse a gift name, family badge and other visual icons. Check the screen where it appears and its full name to understand its function; appearance alone does not establish a price or membership rights.
What is a Bigo family?
BIGO's family system brings users together around shared activities and goals. Family membership, level and family gifts are different elements. Sending a particular gift does not automatically grant the right to create or manage a family.
Identifying a shield
- Determine whether the icon appears in the gift panel, profile or family section.
- Read its full name and any description or duration information.
- If it is a gift, check the Diamond cost before sending.
- If family membership or creation is involved, review the current conditions shown in your account.
Be careful with levels and prices
