Bigo Live is a social platform for watching live streams, chatting, broadcasting and sending virtual gifts. BIGO Technology was founded in 2014; the Bigo Live app launched in March 2016.
Where should a new user start?
- Get the app from the official download link or your device's app store.
- Read the current age and usage requirements when creating an account, and retain access to your sign-in method.

What are Diamonds, gifts and Beans?
Diamonds are the balance viewers use for gifts. Beans are a separate concept on the broadcaster's earnings side. Watching a stream does not automatically require you to buy gifts. Check the amount before confirming a paid transaction.
What to check before going live
Select the stream type, title and visibility options from the menu available to your account. Do not assume a lock icon opens the same private-room feature in every version. Keep your home address, phone number, verification codes and other people's private information out of the broadcast. Run a brief camera and audio check before your first stream.
