A Bigo Live 'code' does not refer to just one kind of code. An invitation code or link may be used for a campaign, while an SMS verification code protects account security. Do not use them interchangeably.
What does an invitation code do?
If your app offers a campaign such as Invite & Earn, that section displays the invitation link and reward conditions. Do not assume the event is available in every country, at all times and to every account. Additional eligibility requirements may apply beyond your friend's registration.
Identifying the code type
- Read the name of the screen the code came from: invitation, sign-in or payment?
- For invitations, use the sharing option generated by the app.
- Never send an SMS or one-time sign-in code to anyone.
- Do not enter your account password on a third-party page promising rewards.
Earning and sharing conditions
Check the reward type, validity dates and eligible regions in the campaign description. An invitation code alone is not proof that your account has been automatically or manually approved. If the campaign is missing, do not assume a user's screen from another country applies to your account.
