How to Set Up Push to Talk in VALORANT

Clear comms help a VALORANT team coordinate utility, rotations and enemy positions without keeping the microphone open all round. Push to Talk transmits only while you hold the assigned key.
Bind Team and Party voice
- Open VALORANT and go to Settings.
- Open Controls, then Communication.
- Find Party Voice Push to Talk Key.
- Find Team Voice Push to Talk Key.
- Assign separate, comfortable keys that do not conflict with movement or abilities.
- Hold the relevant key when you want that channel to hear you.
Choose and test audio devices
Open the Voice Chat audio settings and select the microphone and output device you actually use. “Default System Device” can work, but it is not mandatory and may select the wrong headset after Windows changes devices.
The source suggests at least 50% for incoming and microphone levels. Treat that only as a starting point: use the microphone test or loopback, then adjust until teammates hear you clearly without clipping, background noise or painfully loud playback.
