How to Type in All Chat in VALORANT
Press Shift+Enter to open All Chat directly, or type /all from chat. Check the channel label before sending and return to Team Chat when needed.

VALORANT text chat supports team communication and messages visible to both teams. All Chat can be useful for a short greeting, sportsmanship or necessary match communication, but tactical information belongs in Team Chat.
Open All Chat
- Wait until the match and map are loaded.
- Press Shift+Enter to open All Chat directly.
- Alternatively, open chat and type /all before the message.
- Check that the input label says All before sending.
- Press Enter to send the message.
Return to Team Chat
Open normal team text chat with your assigned chat control—commonly Enter on the default layout—or select the Team channel. Always check the channel label before sharing a strategy, position or economy plan, because an All Chat message is visible to opponents.
You usually do not need to create a new custom keybind just to use All Chat; Shift+Enter is the standard shortcut described by the source. Custom bindings and client versions can differ, so review Communication controls if it does not respond.
