How to Clip VALORANT Gameplay

You can clip VALORANT with Windows' built-in recorder, your GPU overlay, OBS Studio or a match-focused clipping app. The best choice depends on whether you want the last few seconds automatically or a full-match recording.

Fastest option: instant replay

1. Enable background recording in Xbox Game Bar, the NVIDIA app or AMD Software.
2. Set a replay length that fits your storage and PC performance.
3. Play normally, then press the save-replay hotkey after the moment happens.
4. Check the overlay settings for the current hotkey; it can change if you customized it.

On Windows, Win + Alt + G commonly saves the recent moment when background capture is enabled, while Win + Alt + R starts or stops a manual recording. NVIDIA Instant Replay commonly uses Alt + F10. Verify these shortcuts in your own overlay before queueing.
