VALORANT Battle Pass: Price, Rewards and How to Buy

The VALORANT Battle Pass has Free and Premium reward tracks that progress with XP during an Act. The current VALORANT Wiki lists Premium access at 1,000 VP. You can progress before buying it and unlock reached Premium rewards retroactively if you upgrade before the Act ends.

How does it work?

The main track contains 50 tiers and may be followed by Epilogue rewards. Rewards vary by Act and can include weapon skins, player cards, sprays, titles, gun buddies, Flex items and Radianite. Check the current list and end date in the client.

What is the Premium XP bonus?

Premium can provide a 3% bonus to eligible match XP after purchase. It is not retroactive and does not apply to mission XP. Progress earned before buying Premium is still recorded.

Can tiers be purchased?

The current Wiki lists an option to buy a missing tier for 300 VP. Because this can increase the total cost quickly, compare the remaining days and XP before spending VP.

How do you buy it?

  1. Sign in to the correct Riot account.
  2. Open the Battle Pass section and check the remaining time.
  3. Compare the Free and Premium rewards.
  4. Check your VP balance and the current price.
  5. Confirm the purchase in the client.

Check region details in the VALORANT VP guide. Compare store cosmetics in the skin price guide and learn about upgrades in the Radianite guide.

Is it worth it?

It depends on your playtime and whether you will use several rewards. Some older accessories may return through the Accessory Store, but this does not cover weapon or melee skins, so never assume a specific skin will return.
