How to Refund a VALORANT Skin
Check whether a VALORANT weapon skin is refundable, what counts as used content, which purchases are excluded and how to request a refund.

A VALORANT weapon skin is not automatically non-refundable. Riot's current support rules allow a refund for an unused, base-level weapon skin purchased within the last 14 days. The important parts are the purchase date, whether the skin was equipped in a match and whether it was upgraded.
When a weapon skin is eligible
- It was purchased within the previous 14 days.
- It is still at its base level and has not been upgraded.
- It has not been used in any match.
- The purchase appears as eligible on Riot's refund page.
Riot considers content used once you reach a match loading screen with it equipped. This includes normal modes, Custom Games and the Practice Range. Inspecting a skin in the Collection is different from loading into a match, but always confirm the item shown by the official refund tool.
Purchases that are generally not refundable
- Used or upgraded weapon skins;
- weapon-skin levels and variants;
- weapon-skin bundles;
- used cosmetics such as gun buddies or player cards;
- agents, Premium Battle Passes and their levels;
- Radianite Points;
- items bought with Kingdom Credits.
How to request the refund
- Sign in to VALORANT Player Support with the Riot account that made the purchase.
- Open the refund-request page and load the eligible purchase history.
- Select the available item and follow the refund action shown.
- If the tool fails or the charge is incorrect, submit a support ticket with the date, item and receipt details.
Unused VP purchased within the last 14 days may also qualify for a cash refund if none of that VP has been spent; Riot directs these requests through a support ticket. Do not file a bank chargeback as a normal refund shortcut, because chargebacks follow a separate account-balance process.
No resale or transfer workaround
A skin already owned on an account cannot simply be traded to another player. Gifting is a separate store feature where available, not a way to transfer an item from your Collection. Check the official Riot page before every request because policy and regional legal rights can change.
