VALORANT Patch 10.10: Raze, Collection, and RR Refunds
Review VALORANT 10.10's Raze VFX, Collection UI, refunded RR cap, Tejo Swiftplay points, Icebox status, Agent fixes, Pick'Ems, and console settings.
Historical patch archive: VALORANT Patch 10.10 was released on May 27, 2025. It does not describe today's live build. Use the latest update guide for current values.
Patch 10.10 at a glance
The patch aligned Raze explosion VFX more closely with hitbox information, began bringing PC and console Collection screens together, raised the per-Act refunded RR cap for players below Radiant, and documented a Tejo Swiftplay change already live in 10.09. Icebox remained unavailable in Deathmatch and Escalation while spawn issues were investigated.
Raze explosion VFX
Boom Bot and Paint Shells explosion effects were updated to indicate their damage hitboxes more accurately. The effects also remained in the world for less time to reduce post-fight visual clutter. This was not a damage or hitbox buff; it was a clarity change for the existing area.
Tejo in Swiftplay
Armageddon starting ult points increased from 2 to 3. Riot explained that the change had already shipped in Patch 10.09 but was omitted from those notes. Future nine-point ultimates would automatically scale in Swiftplay. See the 10.09 Tejo economy changes for the earlier patch.
Collection UI changes
Riot started unifying PC and console interfaces to reduce separate development work.
Console
- The separate content-type navigation page was removed.
- All content types, including Player Cards and Sprays/Flex, appeared on the Collection page in a PC-like layout.
- Gamepad navigation was improved.
PC
- Level and Chroma indicators were removed from weapon tiles.
- Minor layout changes were made.
This did not introduce a gameplay advantage or a new skin system; it was the first step toward shared UI foundations.
Ranked Rollback and refunded RR
For players below Radiant, the maximum refunded RR available within one Act was increased. Riot continued monitoring edge cases in Ranked Rollback, which addresses ranked matches affected by a sanctioned cheater. It did not promise fixed RR or an automatic refund after every loss. See the rank, RR, and hidden MMR guide.
Why Icebox remained disabled
Icebox stayed disabled in Deathmatch and Escalation while spawn-related issues introduced around 10.09 were addressed. It was not removed from every mode or automatically from the Competitive map pool.
Key Agent bug fixes
- Omen: a 10.08 fix was reverted so dead allies spectating Dark Cover could no longer see through Viper's Pit and other nearsights. The tradeoff reintroduced Omen's poor vision when casting Dark Cover while overlapping another dense smoke.
- Vyse: Arc Rose hit confirm on non-players and round-long lockout when placed too close to the Spike were fixed.
- Deadlock: jumping no longer inconsistently dodged the net toss while inside its area.
- Tejo: Astra concuss affecting Stealth Drone whenever in line of sight, and Waylay effects hindering rockets, were fixed.
- Yoru: lingering flash decals on bounced walls were removed.
- Brimstone: ultimate visuals drawing underneath the map were fixed.
PC and console notes
Masters Toronto Pick'Ems opened on May 28 for the 2025 event, with Swiss predictions, a 2-0 bonus call, and Top 50/Top 20 reward tiers.
Console added a Fast Melee Equip description. Movement settings already live in 10.09 were documented: Walk/Run Threshold minimum 0.5 → 0.001 and Movement Deadzone maximum 0.5 → 1.0.
Is 10.10 current?
