VALORANT Chat Keys: Team, All, Party, and Whisper

With default PC binds, press Enter for team text chat and Shift+Enter for all chat. Team voice push-to-talk is normally V, while party voice is normally U. These binds can be changed, so your Settings screen is the final authority.

Text channels

• Team: Enter, or use the Team channel.
• All: Shift+Enter, or switch to All before sending.
• Party: select Party in the chat channel when available.
• Whisper: start a direct message from the chat/social interface, select the Riot friend, then confirm the recipient before sending.

Client versions may offer channel cycling or commands, but do not assume Ctrl+Enter always targets the correct person. Check the channel label displayed beside the input box.

Voice chat

Open Settings → Controls → Communication to verify Team Voice Push-to-Talk and Party Voice Push-to-Talk. Use the loopback test under Audio → Voice Chat for microphone input. Text and voice restrictions, mutes, or regional availability can prevent a channel from working even when the key is correct.

If chat does not open

Check whether the key was rebound, the chat window is disabled or hidden, or the account has a communication restriction. Restart Riot Client after confirming service status. Do not use macros to spam messages; keep calls short and do not share passwords, verification codes, or payment information in chat.
