Short answer: VALORANT does not have classic console cheat codes. What players call “VALORANT cheat codes” are Riot's built-in practice modifiers for Custom Games. They do not work in Competitive, Unrated, Premier or other matchmade queues.
Does VALORANT really have cheat codes?
You do not type commands into a developer console. Enable Allow Cheats while creating a Custom Game, then manage the available modifiers from the Cheats tab after the match starts. These tools are meant for aim practice, lineup testing, learning Agent utility and exploring maps.
How to enable cheats in a Custom Game
- Open Play and choose Custom Game.
- Select your map and server.
- Turn on Allow Cheats in the game options.
- Start the match and open ESC → Cheats.
- Enable the practice modifier you need.
Labels may vary slightly by client language and patch.
What do the Custom Game cheats do?
- Infinite Abilities: Repeat Agent utility without waiting, ideal for lineup practice.
- Infinite Ammo and Magazines: Practice recoil and spray control without reloading or buying ammunition.
- Infinite Credits: Buy weapons, armor and abilities without an economy limit.
- Ignore Shopping Restrictions: Removes buy-zone and timing restrictions for testing.
- Invulnerability and Auto-Respawn: Keeps practice sessions moving without restarting every round.
- Ghost: A no-clip-style mode for flying around the map and inspecting angles.
- Pause Timer and Restart: Recreate the same round setup and test scenarios consistently.
Can you use them in normal matches?
No. These modifiers are restricted to Custom Games. “Free VP”, “free skins” and tools claiming to provide an advantage in live matches are not Riot-approved features. Injectors, scripts, macros and downloads that request account details can lead to sanctions, stolen credentials or malware.
