How to Change VALORANT to English

To use English agent voice-over in VALORANT, change the game's language to English in Riot Client. The supported language selector normally applies the game package as a whole, so menus, subtitles, and voice lines can change together. Riot does not provide a verified in-game control that independently keeps one text language while selecting a different voice-over language.

Change the language in Riot Client

1. Close VALORANT and return to Riot Client.
2. Open the profile menu and choose Settings.
3. Select VALORANT.
4. Choose English under the game text/language option shown by your client.
5. Allow any required language files to download, then relaunch the game.

Menu labels can move when Riot Client is updated, but the safe route is the game's settings inside the official client. Do not rename localization folders or download unofficial voice packs; modified files can break updates and are not a supported way to split audio and text.

Can audio be English while text stays in another language?

Not through a consistently supported separate selector. Online workarounds that replace files or change launch parameters may stop working after a patch. Changing the Windows display language is also not a reliable method for preserving one in-game text language and forcing another voice package.

If the language does not change

Fully exit Riot Client from the system tray, reopen it, and confirm the selected game language. Let the download finish and check free disk space. If files remain incomplete, use profile → Settings → VALORANT → Repair if available. To revert, repeat the same steps and select your previous language.
