To turn off VALORANT compatibility mode, use the Windows file Properties screen—not the in-game Graphics menu. VALORANT has no special “driver compatibility mode” that lowers graphics. This is Windows' legacy-app compatibility layer.

Disable it safely

Exit VALORANT and Riot Client, including the Riot system-tray icon.
Right-click the shortcut and choose Open file location, or verify its Target.
