VALORANT All Chat: Shift+Enter and /all Guide

Short answer: on VALORANT PC, press Shift+Enter to open All Chat, or open chat with Enter and type /all your message. Both your team and the opposing team can read it.

Two ways to open All Chat

Shift+Enter: the default PC shortcut opens the All channel directly. Confirm the channel label before sending.
/all: open chat, type /all, add a space and your message, then press Enter.

Chat channels

All: visible to both teams in the current match, not a global server broadcast.
Team: current teammates only; Enter opens it by default and /team selects it.
Party: members who joined your lobby party; /party selects it.
Whisper/DM: private Riot social message to a specific friend, not All Chat.
Voice: team and party voice only; no All Voice with opponents.

What belongs in All Chat?

A greeting, short “ns”, respectful post-round “nt”, or end-of-match “gg wp” can fit. Do not reveal rotations, Spike location, low HP, Agent position, tactics or economy plans. Learn tone from the NT guide and WP guide.

If the message does not send

Check whether the active label is Team or Party instead of All.
Verify the actual Communication binding rather than assuming Shift+Enter.
Read any chat restriction, connection or service warning in client.
The other player may have muted you; no reply is not proof of a delivery failure.
Do not repeat-spam; chat regulation can limit duplicate messages.

Safe chat

Riot can penalise insults, threats, harassment and offensive language across in-game comms. Repeat or severe abuse can lead to warnings, comms restrictions, Ranked restrictions or game penalties. Use scoreboard mute and report instead of escalating. Patch 9.02 added quick voice-control shortcuts to the in-match scoreboard.

PC and console

Shift+Enter and slash commands describe the PC keyboard flow. Console social, ping/radio and connected-input options can vary by platform and client version; verify the Communication controls on that device.
